Odion Ighalo opened the scoring for the Super Eagles. Stephane Bahoken equalized for The Indomitable Lions. Cameroon took the lead through Clinton Njie. Odion Ighalo completed his brace also levelled matters for Nigeria. Alex Iwobi netted a winner the Super Eagles.

Moise Adilehou opened the scoring for The Squirrels and Youssef-En-Nesyri levelled matters for the Atlas Lions. The match to extra-time and both sides failed to change the scoreline. Benin won 4-1 on penalties.
