The Premier Soccer League has announced that the domestic football transfer will close on Monday, 02 September 2019 at 24h00.

This is in accordance to Rule 31.5.3 of the NSL Handbook that reads :

“Should the last day of the first or second registration period fall on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the registration period will be be extended to include the next day and will end at midnight on the last day of the registration period.”

The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committe has found Highlands Park guilty of contravening the NSL Security Manual during their ABSA Premiership fixture against Kaizer Chiefs on 4 August 2019.

Highlands Park failed to provide adequate security for the fixture resulting in spectators misbehaving and throwing objects onto the field.

The club was fined R200 000, with R150 000 suspended for 24 months on conditions that they are not found guilty of the same charge during the same period.

Highlands Park were also ordered to pay the costs of the Disciplinary Committee sitting amounting amounting to R35, 543.65.

Premier Soccer League disciplinary committee has found Baroka FC and the coach Thoka Matsimela guilty for contravening NSL compliance manual.

Matsimela failed to attend a mandatory post media mixed zone when Baroka FC played Bidvest Wits on 6 August 2019 at Bidvest Stadium.

Baroka and Matsimela were fined R100 000 each, fines are suspended for the period of 24 months on conditions that the club and the coach do not commit the similar offenses.
