The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committe has found Highlands Park guilty of contravening the NSL Security Manual during their ABSA Premiership fixture against Kaizer Chiefs on 4 August 2019.

Highlands Park failed to provide adequate security for the fixture resulting in spectators misbehaving and throwing objects onto the field.

The club was fined R200 000, with R150 000 suspended for 24 months on conditions that they are not found guilty of the same charge during the same period.

Highlands Park were also ordered to pay the costs of the Disciplinary Committee sitting amounting amounting to R35, 543.65.
