Abednigo Mosiatlhaga of Ajax Cape Town in GladAfrica Championship is the first player this season to score a hat-trick in Premier Soccer League against TS Sporting at Kabokweni Stadium 26 October 2019. The last player to score a hat-trick in Premier Soccer League was Gavin Hammers of Cape Umoya United on 5 May 2019.
Four hat-tricks were registered in National First Division compared to one hat-trick registered in ABSA Premiership last season.

The Premier Soccer League will postpone a number of GladAfrica Championship fixtures in order to assist the campaign of the South Africa Under 23 national team who are traveling to Egypt to participate in an Olympic qualification tournament.
The member clubs mainly affected by the postponement are University of Pretoria, Richards Bay and Ajax Cape Town.
The League has decided to postpone the fixtures to give the national team the best possible chance to qualify for the Olympics.
The players will be released after this weekend’s fixtures.
The League will release full details in due course.
