Dean Furman confirm his departure from SuperSport United.
He made a farewell message to his club and people of South Africa on his social media pages.
His message reads as follows :-
Following the statement from SuperSport United FC today, I can confirm that I have left the club in order to be closer to my family in United Kingdom.
It has been the most incredible five years living and playing in South Africa. On the pitch, it was huge honour to captain SuperSport United and lift four trophies in a hugely successful period for the club. Of the pitch, I met so many wonderful people, loved the great interactions with the fans and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the beautiful country.
I would like to thank Stan Mathews & the board at SuperSport United for giving me the opportunity to play for the club, coach Kaitano Tembo and my previous coaches (Stuart Baxter & Eric Tinkler), along all the staff, the many players I have the honour of sharing the dressing room with and our brilliant Matsatsantsa fans.
Last but not least, I would like to thank amazing people of South Africa for making this experience incredible special.
I wish you all the safety and good health during these uncertain times and I hope to come back and visit soon.
Thank you for the memories ⬇️⬇️⬇️💙🇿🇦🏆⚽️ pic.twitter.com/hUCItB7j5V
