Both sides failed to find the back of the net. With this match result, Sifiso Mlungwana kept his third consecutive DStv Premiership clean sheet for the first time in his career as the goalkeeper of Lamontville Golden Arrows.

Evidence Makgopa opened the scoring for Bakgaga on the first half. Evidence Makgopa completed his brace and also increased the lead for the visitors. Gerald Phiri Junior extended the lead for Bakgaga. Stanley Dimgba reduced the deficit for the host. Ryan Moon further reduced the deficit for Stellies through the penalty spot on the last minutes of the match and it was also not enough to salvage a point for the home side. Four goals were scored on the second half.

With this match result, Owen Da Gama registered his first victory as the head coach of TS Galaxy and it was also first clean sheet for Marlon Heugh for the club.

Black Leopards 0-2 Cape Town City, Thohoyandou Stadium
Surprise Ralani opened the scoring for the visitors on the first half. Surprise Ralani completed his brace and also sealed the win for the Citizens. With this match result, Cape Town City registered their first victory against Black Leopards at Thohoyandou Stadium.
