Ademola Lookman tripled the lead for the Super Eagles. Montassar Talbi reduced the deficit for the Carthage Eagles. Ali Abdi added the second goal for the Carthage Eagles through the penalty spot. With this match result, Nigeria are through to the Last 16 of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and Tunisia registered their first defeat of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
