Mohamed Sherif opened the scoring for the Red Devils. Salah Mohsen sealed the win for the 2020 CAF Champions League champions. Both goals were scored on the second half. With this match result, Al Ahly crowned 2020 CAF Super Cup champions. It was the seventh super cup title for the Egyptian side.
