Cape United will be now known as Venda Football Academy in the GladAfrica Championship 2021/22 season.
The owner of Venda Football Academy Robsin Maite bought the GladAfrica Championship status of Cape United Football Club which was based in Western Cape in last two seasons. Please note that at the beginning of 2020/21 season, Cape Umoya United was renamed to Cape United.
The Venda Football Academy is based in Limpopo and they will use Thohoyandou Stadium as their home stadium.
