Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo opened the scoring for the hosts. The home side went into the halftime break leading by 1-0. Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo completed his brace and also doubled the lead for Bahlabane Ba Ntwa. Monde Mphambaniso tripled the lead for the hosts. Edgar Manaka added the fourth goal and also sealed the win for Bahlabane Ba Ntwa. With this match result, Marumo Gallants are through to the semi-finals of the 2025 Carling Knockout Cup and Bahlabane Ba Ntwa and also ended the six-match unbeaten run of Stellenbosch FC in all competitions.
