Lesego Radiakanyo opened the scoring for the Batswana side. Gaborone United went into the halftime break leading by 1-0. Fridah Kabwe levelled matters for the Zambian side on the dying minutes of the second half and her goal took the match to extra-time. The scoreline remained unchanged on extra-time and Gaborone United 4-3 on penalties. With this match result, Gaborone United crowned 2025 COSAFA Women’s Champions League champions and also qualified for 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League.
