Aamir Abdallah opened the scoring for the Falcons of Jediane. Pape Gueye levelled matters for the Lions of Teranga. The Lions of Teranga took the lead for the first time in this match through Pape Gueye. Senegal went into the halftime break leading by 2-1. Ibrahim Mbaye added the third goal and also sealed the win for the Lions of Teranga in the second half. With this match result, Senegal are through to the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and Sudan have been eliminated at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Both sides went into the halftime break levelled at 0-0. Firas Chaouat opened the scoring for the Carthage Eagles. Lassine Sinayoko levelled matters for the Eagles through the penalty spot and his took the match to extra-time. The scoreline remained unchanged in extra-time and the match went into penalties. Mali won 3-2 on penalties. With this match result, Mali are through to the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and Tunisia have been eliminated at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
