Egypt 2-1 Zimbabwe, Adrar Stadium
Prince Dube opened the scoring for the Warriors. Zimbabwe went into the halftime break leading by 1-0. Omar Marmoush levelled matters for the Pharaohs. Mohamed Salah netted a winner for Pharoahs. With this match result, Egypt ended their five AFCON matches winless run and Zimbabwe lost their first match of 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
