Augustine Kwem opened the scoring for the visitors. Khanyisa Mayo levelled matters for the Citizens. Both sides went into halftime break levelled at 1-1 scoreline. The scoreline remained unchanged on the second half on the normal time and the match went into extra-time. Lehlohonolo Majoro netted a winner for Usuthu on the second half of the extra-time. With this match result, AmaZulu FC ended the three matches losing of Cape Town City FC.
Royal AM 1-2 Orlando Pirates, Chatsworth Stadium
Vincent Pule opened the scoring for the visitors. The away side went into the halftime break leading by 1-0. James Monyane doubled the lead for the Buccaneers and it was his first goal for the club. Shaune Mogaila pulled one back for Thwihli Thwahla. With this match result, Orlando Pirates ended the two matches unbeaten run of Royal AM.
