Orlando Pirates have appointed Sjoerd Woudenberg as their new goalkeeper coach.
The former Cape Town City Football Club goalkeeper coach joined the club last month (July 2021), he is taking over from the position which was vacated by Jyrie Nieminen on December 2020 who is now with New York Red Bulls in USA. After the departure of Nieminen at the Buccaneers, Wayne Sandilands acted as the goalkeeper coach until the end of June 2021.
Goalkeepers which are currently on Orlando Pirates books are Siyabonga Mpontshane, Wayne Sandilands, Kopane Thuntsane, Richard Ofori and Elson Sithole.
