Lebohang Ramalepe opened the scoring for the defending champions. Refiloe Jane doubled the lead for Banyana Banyana through a free kick. South Africa went into the halftime break leading by 2-0. Hildah Magaia tripled the lead for the defending champions. Ronnel Donnelly added the fourth goal and also sealed the win for Banyana Banyana. With this match result, Andile Dlamini kept a clean sheet for South Africa.

Princella Adubea opened the scoring for the Black Queens. Stumai Athumani levelled matters for the Twiga Stars. Both sides went into halftime break levelled at 1-1. Alice Kusi restored the lead for the Black Queens through the penalty spot. Evelyn Badu added the third goal for the Black Queens. Chantelle Boye-Hlorka added the fourth goal and also sealed the win for the Black Queens. With this match, Ghana are through to the quarter-finals of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
