Mbulelo Wagaba opened the scoring for Mswenko Boys. Wandile Duba levelled matters for Amakhosi on the stroke of halftime. Both sides went into the halftime break levelled at 1-1. The visitors took the lead for the first time in this match through Mduduzi Shabalala. Siphesihle Ndlovu added the third goal and also sealed the win for Amakhosi. With this match result, Orbit College FC and Kaizer Chiefs are now on a three-match losing streak and a three-match winning streak, respectively.

With this match result, AmaZulu FC registered their fifth Betway Premiership draw of the season and Sekhukhune United are now winless in their last five matches in all competitions.
