Sofiane Boufal opened the scoring for the Atlas Lions through the penalty spot. Morocco went into the halftime break leading by 1-0. Mohamed Salah levelled matters for the Pharaohs on the second half of the normal time. Mahmoud Trezeguet netted a winner for the Pharaohs on the first half of the extra-time. With this match result, Egypt are the third team to book the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final spot.

Famara Diedhiou opened the scoring for the Lions of Teranga. Senegal went into the halftime break leading by 1-0. Jannick Buyla levelled matters for the National Thurnder. Cheikhou Kouyate restored the lead for the Lions of Teranga. Ismaila Sarr sealed the win for the Lions of Teranga. With this match result, Senegal are the fourth team to book the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final spot.
