The PSL Play-Off dates, kick-off times and venues have been confirmed by the Premier Soccer League.
The teams which will be participating in the PSL Play-Off matches are University of Pretoria, Baroka FC and Richards Bay FC
Richards Bay FC – The club that finished on position 15 on the DStv Premiership Log after 30 matches.
University of Pretoria – The club that finished on position 2 on the Motsepe Foundation Championship Log after 30 matches.
Baroka FC – The club that finished on position 3 on the Motsepe Foundation Championship Log after 30 matches.
PSL Play-Off fixtures and dates will be be as follows :-
02 June 2024 – University of Pretoria vs Baroka
05 June 2024 – Richards Bay vs University of Pretoria
08 June 2024 – Baroka vs Richards Bay
12 June 2024 – Baroka vs University of Pretoria
15 June 2024 – University of Pretoria vs Richards Bay
19 June 2024 – Richards Bay vs Baroka
All above matches will kick-off at 15h00.
If Richards Bay FC finishes on position 1 of the PSL Play-Off Log on 19 June 2024, it will mean that Richards Bay FC will remain on the DStv Premiership next season. University of Pretoria and Baroka FC will be playing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship next season.
If University of Pretoria finishes on position 1 of the PSL Play-Off Log on 19 June 2024, it will mean that University of Pretoria will be promoted to the DStv Premiership next season. Richards Bay FC and Baroka FC will be playing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship next season.
If Baroka FC finishes on position 1 of the PSL Play-Off Log on 19 June 2024, it will mean that Baroka FC will be promoted to the DStv Premiership next season. Richards Bay and University of Pretoria will be playing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship next season.
University of Pretoria will play their home matches at Tuks Stadium.
Baroka FC will play their home matches at Global Stadium.
Richards Bay FC will play their home matches at King Zwelithini Stadium.
