The PSL Play-Off draw was conducted on 21 May 2024 and the draw was live on Supersport PSL (202) on a show called Championship Show.
Only 3 PSL clubs participated in the draw.
Club 1 – The club that will finish on position 15 on the DStv Premiership Log after 30 matches.
University of Pretoria – The club that finished on position 2 on the Motsepe Foundation Championship Log after 30 matches.
Baroka FC – The club that finished on position 3 on the Motsepe Foundation Championship Log after 30 matches.
After the draw the PSL Play-Off fixtures and dates were confirmed as follows :-
02 June 2024 – University of Pretoria vs Baroka
05 June 2024 – Club 1 vs Baroka
08 June 2024 – University of Pretoria vs Club 1
12 June 2024 – Baroka vs University of Pretoria
15 June 2024 – Baroka vs Club 1
19 June 2024 – Club 1 vs University of Pretoria
If Club 1 finishes on position 1 of the PSL Play-Off Log on 19 June 2024, it will mean that Club 1 will remain on the DStv Premiership next season. University of Pretoria and Baroka FC will be playing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship next season.
If University of Pretoria finishes on position 1 of the PSL Play-Off Log on 19 June 2024, it will mean that University of Pretoria will be promoted to the DStv Premiership next season. Club 1 and Baroka FC will be playing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship next season.
If Baroka FC finishes on position 1 of the PSL Play-Off Log on 19 June 2024, it will mean that Baroka FC will be promoted to the DStv Premiership next season. Club 1 and University of Pretoria will be playing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship next season.
