Surprise Ralani opened the scoring for the hosts. Kermit Erasmus increased the lead for the Cape Town side. Edmilson Dove [OG] reduced the deficit for the Brazilians. Three goals were scored on the first half. Surprise Ralani completed his brace and also extended the lead for the Citizens. Keletso Makgalwa reduced the deficit for the ABSA Premiership defending champions. Two goals were scored in the second half.
