Abedi Bigirimana opened the scoring for the Swallows. Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana doubled the lead for the hosts. Hussein Shabani tripled the lead for the Swallows. Peter Shalulile reduced the deficit for the visitors. Burundi went into the halftime break leading by 3-1. Wendell Rudath pulled one back for the Brave Warriors on the second half.
