Both sides went into the halftime break levelled at 0-0. Philani Kumalo opened the scoring for Abafana Bes’thende. Christian Saile Basomboli levelled matters for Masele and it was his first goal for the club. With this match result, Godfrey Mosoetsa registered his first point as the head coach of Siwelele FC and Lamontville Golden Arrows registered their fourth Betway Premiership draw of the season.
Milford 5-1 Richards Bay, Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium
Siphosethu Ndlabi opened the scoring for the Stallions through the penalty spot. Mvelo Zikakayo doubled the lead for the hosts. The home side went into the halftime break leading by 2-0. Mvelo Zikakayo completed his brace and also tripled the lead for the Stallions. Mehluleli Ndelu reduced the deficit for the Natal Rich Boys and it was his first goal for the club. Phakamani Jwara added the fourth goal for the hosts and it was his first goal for the club. Jabulile Gxakoshe added the fifth goal and also sealed the win for the Stallions. With this match result, Milford FC ended their Betway Premiership three-match winless run and Richards Bay FC have now registered Betway Premiership back to back defeats for the first time this season.
TS Galaxy 0-1 Kruger United, Solomon Mahlangu Stadium
Both sides went into the halftime break levelled at 0-0. Khethukuthula Ndlovu netted a winner for the Villagers in the second half. With this match result, TS Galaxy registered their second Betway Premiership defeat of the season and Kruger United registered their first Betway Premiership victory.
