Elmo Kambindu opened the scoring for the hosts. The home side went into the halftime break leading by 1-0. Nkosikhona Radebe doubled the lead and also sealed the win for Usuthu on the second half. With this match result, Arthur Zwane won his first match as the new head coach of AmaZulu FC.
