Azola Matrose opened the scoring for the Chilli Boys. Athini Maqokolo levelled matters for Usuthu. The hosts took the lead for the first time this match through Siphamandla Zikhali and it was his first goal for the club. The home side went into the halftime break leading by 2-1. Athini Maqokolo completed his brace and also added the third goal for Usuthu. Thapelo Matlhoko added the fourth goal for the hosts. Thabiso Kutumela added the fifth goal and also sealed the win for Usuthu.
