Marcelo Allende opened the scoring for the hosts. Iqraam Rayners doubled the lead for the Brazilians. Sinoxolo Kwayiba reduced the deficit for the Chilli Boys. The home side went into the halftime break leading by 2-1. Tashreeq Matthews added the third goal for the hosts. Brayan Leon Muniz added the fourth goal and also sealed the win for the Brazilians. With this match result, Mamelodi Sundowns returned to the top of the Betway Premiership Log and Chippa United registered their eleventh Betway Premiership defeat of the season.
