An own goal by Ramahlwe Mphahlele opened the scoring for the hosts. Tshepang Moremi equalized for the visitors. Both sides went into halftime break levelled at 1-1. Usuthu took the lead for the first time in this match through Elmo Kambindu and it was his first goal for the club. An own goal by Richard Ofori levelled matters for Amakhosi. With this match result, AmaZulu FC are now unbeaten in their last three in all competitions for the first time this season.
