Both sides went into the halftime break levelled at 0-0. Kutlwano Letlhaku opened the scoring for the Brazilians. Siyanda Ndlovu doubled the lead for the hosts. Tashreeq Matthews tripled the lead and also sealed the win for the Brazilians. With this match result, Mamelodi Sundowns became the first team to win four Betway Premiership matches in a row this season and Godfrey Mosoetsa registered his first defeat as the head coach of Siwelele FC.
