Both sides failed to find the back of the net in the normal time and match went into extra-time. Youssef El Fahli opened the scoring for the Orange Boys through the penalty spot. The Moroccan side went into the halftime break of the extra-time leading by 1-0. Thembinkosi Lorch levelled matters for Buccaneers on the second half of the extra-time and took the match to penalties. RS Berkane won 5-4 on penalties. With this match result, Renaissance Sportive de Berkane crowned CAF Confederation Cup champions for the second time.
