On 20 October 2021, the Ugandan born goalkeeper kept his sixth consecutive DStv Premiership clean sheet this season for Mamelodi Sundowns and also equalled the Moeneeb Josephs record. Slimkat kept six consecutive clean sheets in the opening league matches for Orlando Pirates in the 2009/10 season.
