Veluyeke Zulu opened the scoring for the hosts. Siphelele Luthuli doubled the lead for the Chilli Boyz and it was his first goal for the club. Mxolisi Macuphu reduced the deficit for the visitors and it was his first goal for the club. The home side went into the halftime break leading by 2-1. Mxolisi Macuphu completed his brace and also levelled matters for Thwihli Thwahla on the second half. With this match result, Chippa United are now winless in their last four matches in all competitions.
