Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo opened the scoring for Bahlabane Ba Ntwa through the penalty spot. Lesedi Kapinga levelled matters for the Brazilians and it was his first DStv Premiership goal for the club. Both goals were scored on the first half. With this match result, Mamelodi Sundowns have failed to beat Marumo Gallants at home in their last three matches in all competitions.

Luvuyo Memela opened the scoring for the Usuthu. Kwame Peprah levelled matters for the hosts. Both sides went into halftime break levelled at 1-1 scoreline. Kwame Peprah completed his brace and also netted a winner for the Buccaneers on the second half. With this match result, Orlando Pirates ended the eleven matches unbeaten run of AmaZulu FC.
