Thapelo Morena opened the scoring for the visitors. The away side went into the halftime break leading by 1-0. Themba Zwane sealed the win for the Brazilians on the second half. With this match result, Ronwen Williams of Mamelodi Sundowns broke the DStv Premiership record for the most clean sheets (17) in a single season which was held by Moeneeb Josephs while he was on the books of Orlando Pirates in 2009/10 season.
