Keenan Phillips netted a winner for the Dube Birds on the first half and it was his first goal for the club. With this match result, Moroka Swallows ended their two matches winless run in all competitions.

Etiosa Ighodaro opened the scoring for Matsatsantsa. Thabang Matuludi levelled matters for the Rise and Shine. Both goals were scored on the second half. With this match result, Supersport United missed the opportunity of being DStv Premiership log leaders for the second time this season.

Edson Castillo opened the scoring for Amakhosi. Ranga Chivaviro doubled the lead for the hosts and it was his first goal for the club. Luvuyo Phewa reduced the deficit for the  visitors. The home side went into the halftime break leading by 2-1. Christian Saile Basomboli extended the lead for Amakhosi. Luke Baartman pulled one back for the Urban Warriors and it was his first goal for the club. With this match result, Cavin Johnson registered his first victory as the head coach Kaizer Chiefs.
