Ethan Brooks the TS Galaxy midfielder is excited about his Bafana Bafana call-up.
The 20 year old Brooks born in Johannesburg was scouted by TS Galaxy and signed from amateur side Panorama FC has made a huge impact in the DStv Premiership.
When asked about his Bafana Bafana this is what the young talent had to say. “I feel really honoured to be part of the squad competing for a place in the qualifying of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Bafana has not qualified for the World Cup since 2002 and it will be key for us to go into the next two matches with a positive mindset. We should start on a good note against these two teams.”
“The players have won the Cosafa Cup recently and I feel it will help us in the qualifiers as some of us have played together and it is not a very new squad it is a team that can come together and gel with the guys that come from Cosafa and the friendly against Uganda it should help going into the final.”
Bafana Bafana is set to play Zimbabwe on Friday, 3 September 2021 and Ghana on Monday, 6 September 2021.
