Mariona Caldentey opened the scoring for the La Roja through the penalty spot. Stephanie van der Gragt levelled matters for the Orange Lionesses and her goal took the match to extra-time. Both goals were scored on the second half of the normal time. Salma Paralluelo netted a winner for the La Roja on the second half of the extra-time. With this match result, Spain are through to the semi-final of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Amanda Ilestedt opened the scoring for the Blue and Yellow. Sweden went into the halftime break leading by 1-0. Filippa Angeldal doubled the lead for the Blue and Yellow through the penalty spot. Honoka Hayashi pulled one back for the Nadeshiko Japan. With this match result, Sweden are through to the semi-final of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
