Chippa United and Mamelodi Sundowns played to a goalless draw in the DStv Premiership match at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
We had the privilege to hear the thoughts from Gavin Hunt after the match.
“There was no danger, we set out the play to do what we had to do. It was important for us to play on the turnover and we won a couple of times in the first half. We had a couple of good chances without a shot at goal, I don’t think our keeper made a save in the match against the best team in the country” Hunt said.
He followed on by saying Sundowns is the best outfit in the country and Chippa United is not competing against them.
Hunt then added, “The point tonight was crucial to us and every point is crucial. We can only go one game at a time and go from there.”
Chippa United will have a break in play and will face Royal AM on 12 September 2021.
