Siyabonga Vilane opened the scoring for the hosts. Pogiso Mahlangu levelled matters for AmaTuks. Siyabonga Vilane completed his brace and also netted a winner for the Natal Rich Boyz. With this match result, Richards Bay ended their five matches winless run in GladAfrica Championship. This was also the first victory for Ian Palmer as the head coach of Richards Bay FC.
