On this match Aden Dreyer a seventh year old goalkeeper made his debut for Cape Town Spurs. With this match result Cape Town Spurs ended the five matches winning streak of TS Sporting.

Both sides failed to find the back of the net. With this match result, Patrick Nyame of Royal AM became the first goalkeeper to 10 clean sheets in the GladAfrica Championship this season.
