Kamogelo Sebelebele opened the scoring for Rockets. Jayden Adams levelled matters for the Stellies. The hosts took the lead for the first time in this match through Andre de Jong. The home side went into the halftime break leading by 2-1. Fawaaz Basadien sealed the win for the Stellies on the second half. With this match result, Stellenbosch FC are through to the semi-finals of the 2024 MTN8 Cup.
