Peter Shalulile opened the scoring for the Brazilians. The Gauteng side went into the halftime break leading by 1-0. Sede Junior Dion levelled matters for Bahlabane Ba Ntwa on the second half and also took the match to the extra-time. Both sides went into the extra-time halftime break levelled at 1-1 scoreline. Thapelo Morena netted a winner for the Brazilians on the second half of the extra-time. With this match result, Mamelodi Sundowns crowned 2022 Nedbank Cup champions and the Brazilians also completed the 2021/22 season domestic treble.
