Both sides went into halftime break levelled at 0-0. Dzenan Zajmovic opened the scoring for Rockets. Joslin Kamatuka levelled matters for the hosts and his goal took the match to extra-time. Both sides went into Extra-time halftime break levelled at 1-1. Senzo Ndlovu netted a winner for the Citizens on the second half of the extra-time and it was his first goal for the club. With this match result, Adnan Beganovic registered his first head coach of TS Galaxy.
