Sandile Mthethwa opened the scoring for the hosts. Sizwe Mdlinzo increased the lead for the Chilli Boyz and it was his goal for the club. Siyabonga Vilane pulled one back for the Natal Rich Boyz. All three goals were scored on the second half. With this match result, Chippa United ended their five matches winless run.
