The Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture Nathi Mthethwa on his press briefing today has given a green light to professional soccer players to resume training as from 1 June 2020.
Soccer which is regarded as the contact sport, it will be allowed to resume training as from Monday however no announcement has been made when football will resume play in South Africa.
These trainings will be done under strict conditions.
The Minister also confirmed that they are currently in talks with Premier Soccer League and South African Football Association.
