Cape Town All Stars has been renamed to All Stars FC after the Motsepe Foundation Championship club relocated from Western Cape to Gauteng province. Their new nickname will be Umlilo.

Cape Town All Stars will be now known as All Stars as from 2022/23 season. The name change is subjected to Premier Soccer League board approval. It is also reported that the Motsepe Foundation Championship club has relocated from Western Cape to Gauteng during the off-season.
