Maxwel Cornet opened the scoring for the French side on the first half. Kevin De Bryne levelled matters for the Premier League side on the second half. Lyon took the lead again through Moussa Dembele. Moussa Dembele completed his brace and also extended the lead for the Ligue 1 side. All four goals were scored in the normal regulation time.
