Tabitha Chawinga opened the scoring for the Scorchers. Temwa Chawinga doubled the lead for the Scorchers. Malawi went into the halftime break leading by 2-0. Ikram Adjabi reduced the deficit for the Desert Foxes. Tabitha Chawinga completed her brace and also sealed the win for the Scorchers. With this match result, Malawi are through to the final of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
