Kautar Azraf opened the scoring for the Atlas Lionesses. Morocco went into the halftime break leading by 1-0. Lina Boussaha levelled matters for the Desert Foxes in the second half and her goal took the match to penalties. Algeria won 3-2 on penalties. With this match result, Algeria are the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations bronze medal winners.
