Marine Dafeur opened the scoring for the Desert Foxes through the penalty spot. Algeria went into the halftime break leading by 1-0. Melissa Bethi doubled the lead and also sealed the win for the Desert Foxes in the second half. With this match result, Algeria ended their WAFCON two-match winless run and Senegal are now winless in their last four WAFCON matches.

Sakina Ouzraoui opened the scoring for the Atlas Lionesses. Maryame Atiq doubled the lead for the Atlas Lionesses. Ibtissam Jraidi tripled the lead for the Atlas Lionesses. Morocco went into the halftime break leading by 3-0. Ibtissam Jraidi completed her brace and also sealed the win for the Atlas Lionesses in the second half. With this match result, Morocco returned to the winning ways at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and Kenya have now lost their last four WAFCON matches.
