Hasnath Ubamba netted a winner for the Twiga Stars in the second half. With match result, South Africa are now winless in their last four WAFCON matches and Tanzania won their first WAFCON match.

Rebecca Elloh opened the scoring for the Lady Elephants through the penalty spot. Ines Konan doubled the lead for the Lady Elephants. Ines Konan completed her brace and also tripled the lead for the Lady Elephants. Cote d’Ivorie went into the halftime break leading by 3-0. Nsira Ouedraogo added the fourth goal for the Lady Elephants through a free kick. Adama Congo pulled one back for the Stallions. With this match result, Cote d’Ivorie have now their last two WAFCON matches for the first time and Burkina Faso are now winless in their last four WAFCON matches.
